Peer Review Process

IJRDO – Journal of Educational Research follows a proper peer review process to check the quality of every submitted manuscript. No paper is published without evaluation by subject experts.

Initial Check

§

Once submitted, the manuscript is initially checked by the editorial team. By this step, they ensure the paper is within the scope of the journal and that it is in simple formatting and submission guidelines. In case of a lack of something or inappropriateness, it can be sent back to the author.

Review by Experts

Articles, which are not rejected by the first check, are forwarded to reviewers who are experienced in the field. They will critically evaluate the paper in terms of:

Novelty of the work
Adequacy in writing and design
Research technique and design
Relevance to education
Goodness of results and discussion

Review Feedback

Reviewers make their comments and suggestions after evaluation. Based on this feedback, the paper can be:

Accepted as it is
Taken with slight modifications
Sent back to be revised
Rejected

Clear information is given to the authors on the outcome and the comments made by the reviewers.

Revision Stage

In case of any requested changes, authors will be asked to make certain amendments and resubmit their paper. The revised version can be re-examined and then approved in other instances.

Final Decision

Once the editorial team has taken into account the reviewers' feedback and revised the manuscript, that is the final decision that is made. The papers that are accepted for publication must be of good quality for the journal.

Confidential Review

The review is a confidential process. Anonymity of the reviewer and author information is also withheld during the reviewing process to make it fair and unbiased.

Commitment

IJRDO follows a careful and fair review system. The aim is to maintain quality while also helping authors improve their research through useful feedback.
